100% of our lives takes place in an environment that is broadly known and explained by science, through laboratory studies.

Explaining life and the universe we live in, gives us the strength to start a correct and balanced relationship with them. By doing so, we don’t feel either in lack of control over our life, or in a power position & unsustainable attitude towards it.

Scientific knowledge and awareness make life and the world more accessible, more friendly and increase the quality of our interactions with them, the quality of life for each of us.

That is why today, science and research have made educating the community a goal. This effort includes a series of multimedia products: movies, podcasts, online TV shows, videos, YouTube channels, games, animations. This kind of information sharing is preferred because a study showed that traditional forms of communicating scientific results reaches an extremely small number of people.

The use of multimedia experiences by science & research goes into the “projects in humanization” and “social ethics” categories.

Thus, social ethics no longer involves only how to take care of, avoid hurting and contribute to the progress of the community through your research, but also how to help it evolve through education and access to knowledge and awareness.

That is why Octogon represents a gate to education, communication, marketing and branding for scientists, Research Centers and Universities, in support of the community (a science&research translator).
